Description

My favourite place in the world, why not show it properly?
So it stays empty.

Enough pretentiousness, is it cheating photography to motion blur, the best images should have a normal presentation that make you look further, and have that element of abstraction should they not? Motion blurring takes a lot of the skill out of photography and replaces it with a degree of luck, at least in my case. A simple technique that can produce stunnnig effects, I am still practicing, your critique and comments and thoughts would be appreciated.

In your comment you make a question.

My answer is short: nothing against motion blur or any other aesthetics technique (I am not including fake digital postwork effects ... but this not the case).

This will be my first critique with 5 in all the four parameters - Vision, Originality, Technique and Impact.

You master the Black and White Fine Art Photography but many do know it already.

If needed this would the proof of what I have just stated.

No more rambling ... time to go "back" to the photo .... <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt=":)" title=":) (Smile)" />

The usual square crop fits what is shown.
You use the perfect balance between clarity and pure black.
All (almost all) is left to imagery of the viewer as it could be "just" a reflection on a water surface or ...

I agree with your option to position the "horizon" in the middle of the photo.

My verdict is: Sublime !
