From the moment I viewed this piece I was very much taken aback. Such a sinuous flow of line and form, as captured from modern architecuture; this is a great example of this artist's minimalistic style.

The use of grey, although of course simply the colour of the material used to construct the outer walls of this building, is pleasantly subtle. Lack of bright, vivid colour means that the eye is forced to focus on form, which is certainly this photograph's (and this photograoher's) strength. In addition, the limited (or lack thereof) palette gives this piece a oneness- a complete simplicity which soothes one's mind. Perhaps even so much so as to be used as a meditation aid.

Overall, this is a great piece- a perfect example that photo manipulation and bright colours are not necessary to create a striking image. And, above all, this image is instantly striking.
